The Countess of la Vega could not have imagined a better wine homage when, in 1991, her neogothic palace of XIX century, located in DIcastillo, became the headquarters of the Palacio de la Vega winery. Since 1991, Palacio de la Vega controls 300 hectares of vineyards and from its initiations the winery has maintained a focused international vocation, cultivating a style and an image in its wines intended for all type of consumers and maintaining one particular grape as its star - Cabernet Sauvignon. With Rodolfo Bastida, undoubtedly one of the most prestigious wine experts of our country leading the enology project, Palacio de la Vega is one of the most traditional wineries of DO Navarra.
