LAVIA winery is located at a height of 1000 metres, on the mountain range of the same name, surrounded by a pine forest. Founded in the year 2004, the winery set its standards through a work philosophy emphasizing the highest care and respect for the environment, seeking an optimal balance of nature in its plantations and, in consequence, the maximum reflection of these natural surroundings in its mono-varietal Monastrell wines. The search in the vineyards for wines that encase land, climate and native variety in each bottle set up from the beginning the driving force of this exciting project. Pedro Martínez, past winner of the Golden Nose of Spain, is the main enologist of this winery in which he indulges in his love for wine and applies his expansive knowledge to the Monastrell brand.
